The Divine Javelin Paladin is a ranged powerhouse that throws heavenly spears from a safe distance. Empowered by Arbiter of Justice, you can fly around maps and always strike from the perfect angle. This build relies on the same main skill as the Divine Lance Paladin with the important difference that we can use this ability at range, completely changing how this setup plays.
Divine Javelin Paladin Endgame Build Guide for Diablo IV Season 12 - Slaughter
The Divine Javelin Paladin offers a unique way to play this class. Positioning and timing matter as the Javelin detonates at a fixed distance or after colliding with the second enemy. The payoff is gigantic, however, as the skill creates satisfying, flashy explosions that feel impactful.
In this guide, we teach you all you need to know to be successful with the Divine Javelin Paladin in Diablo 4. Let's dive into it!
流派变体
If you are fresh in Torment 1 coming from a leveling guide, this is where you begin. Since only some Aspects can be guaranteed from Dungeon unlocks for the Codex of Power, focus on acquiring the additional aspects via gambling with Murmuring Obols or Pale Marks in the Mercenary Den.
Gear & Skills
How it Works
- Divine Javelin has a fixed distance unless you hit more than 1 target. You need to position yourself at the edge of the screen for bosses (ideally overlapping both the throw and the explosion).
- Light's Rebuke offers better single target damage with worse AoE but only if you manage to double hit the boss with throw + explosion reliably. For all other scenarios, Griswold's Opus is a better option.
- For pushing and higher end content, gather large pulls and stack them on top of you with Condemn, then use the explosions to blow up packs. For bosses, position them next to a wall to shotgun them without having to reposition all the time.
- Arbiter of Justice grants massive damage buffs by ramping up Ascension from using Disciple skills (Falling Star) and Celestial Strife from killing enemies. Make sure you always stay transformed with Disciple Oath to keep them up.
- If you don't want to play with the ramping mechanics of these two aspects, you can also run Virtuous, Utmost Glory or Accelerating (e.g. for lair bossing).
- Resources are a struggle early on - use Rally, Lum and a Basic skill to begin. Later, this problem is solved through Faith per Second, Lucky Hit: Restore Resource temper on ring and Holy Light Aura combined with Ceh.
- Focus on acquiring Boots with Attacks Reduce Evade Cooldown and Arbiter's Zephyr for better mobility.
- Stack block to 100% for Coat of Arms and survival (needs 5 ranks of En Garde tempered + Shroud of False Death or 6 without).
Skill Rotation
- Spam Divine Javelin to deal damage, focusing on either exploding packs or hitting single targets at precisely the right distance.
- Stay in Arbiter form by casting Falling Star regularly.
- Activate Consecration or Fanaticism Aura to apply Weaken (defense and damage with Break the Line).
- Activate Holy Light Aura to gain Fortify and healing.
- Use Defiance Aura as needed.
