The Fist of the Heavens Paladin summons holy lightning from the sky to smite its foes. Empowered by Arbiter of Justice and Argent Veil, you can zoom around Nightmare Dungeons, Helltides and Pits faster than almost any other build while divine justice rains around you. This build has similar theme as the Spear of the Heavens Paladin, but works and plays completely differently.

The Fist of the Heavens Paladin is very easy to play. While the base skill Spear of the Heavens normally has a cooldown, this variant converts it into a core skill with a Faith cost. Thanks to Argent Veil, all you have to do is Evade and attack once every few seconds. While it's not strictly a requirement, it's recommended to play this build only after you've acquired the unique ring but there is a Starter variant below if you want to jump into it right away.

If you are fresh in Torment 1 coming from a leveling guide, this is where you begin. Since only some Aspects can be guaranteed from Dungeon unlocks for the Codex of Power, focus on acquiring the additional aspects via gambling with Murmuring Obols or Pale Marks in the Mercenary Den.
Gear & Skills
How it Works
- Arbiter of Justice grants massive damage buffs by ramping up Ascension from using Disciple skills (Falling Star) and Celestial Strife from killing enemies. Make sure you always stay transformed with Disciple Oath to keep them up.
- If you don't want to play with the ramping mechanics of these two aspects, you can also run Holy Punishment, Proselytizing, Virtuous or Utmost Glory (e.g. for lair bossing).
- Resources are a struggle early on - use Lum rune and worst case add a Basic skill to begin.
- Once you acquire, Argent Veil, you can rotate Evade with any other skill on your bar (Auras, Falling Star, Spear of the Heavens) to automatically destroy everything around you. This requires Boots with Attacks Reduce Evade Cooldown and Arbiter's Zephyr.
- Stack block to 100% for Coat of Arms and survival (needs 5 ranks of En Garde tempered + Shroud of False Death or 6 without).
Skill Rotation
- With Argent Veil: Attack, Evade, Repeat - Rally/Falling Star as needed.
- With enough healing: Spam Rally to reset Evade and just zoom (this is quite difficult to achieve, need a small life pool and lots of Healing Received + Life on Hit).
- Before Argent Veil: Attack, Attack, Evade (Cem + Lum) or Basic to refill, rest as needed.
- Use Fanaticism Aura to apply Weaken (defense and damage with Break the Line).

Stat Priorities & Mercs
To enable the Fist of the Heavens Paladin to perform optimally, hunt for these stats on your gear with good rolls and aim to Temper ⚒️ & Masterwork Crit them accordingly. Keep in mind that certain stats, such as Extra Size Tempers, Attack Speed, Critical Strike Chance and more, have caps that may affect your priorities according to the items and Paragon points available at that moment.
