The Stormclaw Druid uses Greatstaff of the Crone to attack with Claw and Storm Strike at the same time. It offers a true melee playstyle with impressive agility and excellent recovery. On the other hand, its limited range and lower effective hit pool are things to watch out for. This build needs Greatstaff of the Crone to function. It cannot be played without it!

Gear & Skills
How it Works
Skills & Rotation
- Pulverize turns into Shred when Grizzly Rage is active for additional mobility.
- Hurricane reduces damage taken and activates Paingorger's Gauntlets.
- Activate Blood Howl every time after you Shapeshift to benefit from Innate Blood Howl. Spam it on Cooldown to keep up Backlash and Vigilance.
- Targeting matters. Claw deals substantial damage and can only ever hit one target at a time.
- Recover Grizzly Rage's Cooldown quickly with Calm Before the Storm.
- Damage is maximized when your ranks of Envenom and Toxic Claws are even.
- If you're struggling to survive, equip either Temerity or a Defensive Runeword like Cir-Que. You can also use Elixir of Fortitude II, or take Iron Feather over Swooping Attacks.
Skill Rotation
- When you enter a zone and before entering Grizzly Rage, alternate between Claw and Pulverize to stack Quickshift.
- Once in Grizzly Rage, be sure to activate Blood Howl at least once to gain the damage bonus from Innate Blood Howl. Use this Defensive skill liberally to Heal and maintain the bonuses of Vigilance and Backlash.
- Cast Hurricane on cooldown to reduce enemy damage and activate Paingorger's Gauntlets.
- When available, open with Cyclone Armor to group mobs and improve the chain damage from Storm Strike.
- Shred from pack to pack and Claw to eliminate mobs!
Gear
- Tempest Roar gives Storm Strike the Werewolf tag and allows it to benefit from Lupine Ferocity and Lust for Carnage. It also allows you to use Hurricane and Cyclone Armor during Grizzly Rage.
- Dire Wolf's is essential to allow Claw to be used during Grizzly Rage.
- Tibault's Will is awesome for damage, but the best option for survivability here is Temerity.
- Similarly, Shroud of False Death is worth consideration for extra defense, but the overall damage from Mad Wolf's Glee is higher.
- Adaptability makes Maximum Resource a damage scalar, giving more weight to Gift of the Stag, Tibault's Will, and Tempest Roar.
- If you have >200 Spirit, Adaptability is better on the Amulet. If you have less, Rampaging Werebeast is better on the Amulet (Assuming both are max-rolled).
